Story Title: Fame, Glory and other things on my to-do list. Author: Jannete Rallison Review: This story is about a girl, Jessica, who dreams of going to hollywood and becoming famous. She finds her name plain as she thinks that there are enough Jessicas in the world. She feels that she needs a hollywood name like "Angelique" or " Cassiopeia" instead of plain old "Jessica". However, in the end, she dound out that in fact, she qiuite like it. Jessica finds her car, a honda civic, as original as her name. In her opinion, the car doesn't "like" her as whenever she is using the car, it worked only half the time. However, when her father uses the car, it starts up find without any problems. Jessica has one problem, a problem caused by her mum. She is paranoid everytime she leaves work after dark as she is afraid that someone would jump out and rob her, and she has her mother to blame. One day, when Jessica prepares to go home from work at the Wal-Mart, she thought someone was following here, She glanced back and saw a teenage guy with brown hair pulled into a ponytail, wearing some biker-looking jacket and a pair of jeans with a couple of holes spread across it. He seems to be walking in the same direction as her. She sees him as "a guy with 'lurker' potential". She tried, without avail, to start up the car. It had failed her once again, and at such a critical moment! After lots of attempts to try to chase away the "lurker guy", Jessica found out that she was in the wrong car. The truth hit her like a lightning bolt. The car was actually belonged to the "lurker" guy! They had identical cars, both silver honda civics. Jessica stepped out of the car, red with embarrassment. She went back to the car and tried to start it up, but to no avail. The "lurker guy", whose name was actually Jordon, helped her. She called her parents, but they were not at home, so she asked her sister to pass a message. Jessica found out that Jordan just moved into the neighbourhood and was going to attend her high school. Later, Jordon asked Jessica if she could help him pick out suitable outfits as his mum doesn't spproves of his clothes. She feels that his clothes are like handdowns from a heavy metal band that didn't have any access to a washing machine. On the way to the mall, Jessica tells Jordon about her dreams of becoming an actress. However, to her surprise, Jordon did not seem to agree with her. In fact, she thought her heard a hint of hate and anger in his tone. Soon, she found out why. Jordon was actually a very famous actor in hollywood acting in many action-packed shows, Christopher Hunter's son. Because of his career, he and his wife slowly got furtheraway from each other, resulting in them separating, each living their own lives. Jordon wanted to keep him as Christopher Hunter's son as a secret but by accident, she blurted out his secret to Mrs. Shale, the drama teacher. Before this, Jessica and Jordon had came up with a plan to convince his father to go down to Three Forks for a longer period of time and that is by getting a part in the next play. Word spread like wild fire. Soon, the entire school population knew that Jordon was Christopher Hunter's son. When Jordon learnt about in it that jessica had betrayed his trust in her, he didn't talk to her for 2 whole months. However, one day, he found Jessica and asked her for her help to reconcile his parents. So, thus begin their plans to reconcile Jordon's parents. In the end, the play was a totalk failure. However, the failure of the play brought Jordon and Jessica together and brought back Jordon's father and mother.
